When choosing your ready-made curtains you need to make sure that you have accurately measured the width of your curtains by measuring your pole or curtain track with a steel tape measure. Select one of three standard lengths for your curtains; sill length (1.25cm above the sill), below sill length (fall 15cm below the sill) and floor length (1.5cm above the floor) and measure this from the top of the track or pole. Now select from the different styles of curtain; tab top, eyelet and pencil pleat. You might however opt for blinds which include roller, roman, bamboo and venetian.
